Koch Industries, Inc.
Enterprise Architect
1997 - 2000
Established the Koch Enterprise
Architecture including data, application and technology architectures.
- Setup the principles and processes for managing the portfolio of technology assets for
Koch Industries. The discipline that was introduced and the directions that were set
resulted in saving Koch $5.3million in two years.
- Created the website of Koch Architecture Standards and defined the
standards for Information Technology that are posted there. This has significantly
improved compliance to standards enabling a much lower total cost of ownership of IT assets.
- Designed the Koch Petroleum Group distributed component-based
architecture. This is designed to reduce the complexity and cost of managing point
to point interfaces, increase application flexibility and improve the availability of
essential information.
